Today

So, after the excitement of being on the front page of the newspaper, today I find out that I got As in all of my Summer Classes!  All 3!  While pregnant!  Woohoo!  Scott also got an A in his 2 classes!  So, we did good!  My Politics teacher was very excited about my project, since the Park is my project and it's going so well.  I've been receiving a lot of emails from people offering advice, encouragement or wanting to join.  Hurray!  I have high hopes that we will have this going by next year for sure!  Now, if only the money stuff will even out!  I can hope, right?

We were on the front page of the paper!

I know, I'm putting it everywhere, but I am so excited!  Not that my picture is in the newspaper (because they aren't very flattering for me), but that our group is getting the attention it deserves!  We will have a better park!  Hurray!  Kira was excited to see her picture and name in the paper.  She's hoping they make a movie from it.  It doesn't hurt her to dream!  In the meanwhile, I passed my Math test on the second try, I got an A in two of my summer classes (since they don't have A+s here), and I still have yet to find out my grade from my last class.  It's the class that started all of this community work, so a good class!  I'm glad to now know how to best complain about problems!  I'll be taking the school on about the parking thing next.  I mean, really, I can't buy a parking permit for any place to park at school?  Nope, just way out in the middle of nowhere, by the free parking (which is way out there).  So, yeah, I'm a little mad that the on-campus students are allowed to park in good spots.  I'm pregnant and I have to park far away, Ggrrrr...  But, as long as I can get Scott's lab moved to a better time, I can get some classes I actually want to take for my major.  Most especially, the Art Education Class!  Woohoo!  I'm really hoping!  I see the Advisor tomorrow.  Now, to get an appointment with a real doctor so I can get an ultrasound.  That way I have good news to curb all the bad going on right now!  Hurray for good news!  And Trixie Belden books!  I love them, and I only have a few!  Someday I may have the whole collection.  I know my kids will love them when they get older!

My birthday

Well, I turned 29 last week.  Pretty interesting how nothing changes.  I'm not sure why we're always worried about birthdays, because it is not very likely that your life will change because you're another year older!  This week I got another checkup.  The baby still sounds great!  I could hear my heartbeat mingling in a lot too.  Makes it sound a little loud in there.  That's good, because it's plenty loud out here!  The baby's heartbeat was about 150-160, so she started saying it was a boy.  I hope, I hope!  I've learned how to make the cute little onesies with ties, and I'm going to branch out with some appliques on missionary tags.  How cute would that be?  It was kinda my missionary brother's idea!  And if I have a boy, I can just use my husband's old tag to photocopy onto fabric paper and tada!  Cute, right?  In the meantime, I'm poor and can't afford to start new crafts.  So, of course, I keep finding super cool websites doing fun things (like turn a childhood favorite book into a clock)!  I have every intention of doing the clock with picture frames on the wall.  That way I have a reason for lots of pictures on my wall!  YES!  Now, back to real life:  messy rooms, an empty dishwasher, children not going to sleep, done with a fantastic book (by Marcia Lynn Mcclure, I LOVE her books), and a husband waiting so very impatiently for me to go to bed.  What's the likelihood?
